Turn short recordings into editable transcripts.

Transcribe a recording

A verified account and Starter or higher are required. Review the exact credits before each run. There is no free audio preview.

From a voice note to useful text

Transcribe short meeting excerpts, interview clips or your own spoken notes. Upload MP3, M4A, WAV or another audio format your browser can decode, up to five minutes and 25 MB. Longer recordings must be split first.

How to transcribe your recording

  1. Open Voice to Text and choose a recording you have permission to use.
  2. Your browser prepares a smaller mono audio file locally. Choose an available transcription model and review its credit price.
  3. Confirm permission and select Transcribe. Nothing is uploaded for transcription before you run.
  4. Review the editable transcript. Download a TXT copy or save your edited text to Saved Work.

What happens to the recording?

The prepared audio is sent to OpenAI for transcription and stored encrypted by Ali Pro while processing. Ali Pro removes it from active storage after success or failure. Transcripts remain in History for 30 days; saved copies remain until you delete them. Provider processing and backup retention are covered in the privacy notice.

Failed runs are refunded automatically. Transcription may mishear names or unclear speech. Review the text before using it. Speaker identification, word timestamps, live microphone recording and translation are not included in this release.

Continue with your transcript

Use the reviewed text in Document Summarizer, or keep editing it in saved documents. Saving or editing a document does not run AI; a new summary is a separate task with its own displayed credit cost.
