Translate, review and give it a new voice
Choose a saved audio or video recording with 0.5–60 seconds of clear speech. Prepare a transcript and translation, then edit the words, voice and segment timings before generating synchronised audio.
Two steps, two clear quotes
Starter or above is required. Transcript and translation preparation costs 8 credits. Generating the reviewed speech has a separate quote based on its text. Nothing generates automatically. Manual editing, saving drafts and downloading subtitles use no AI credits.
Keep your source and finished audio
Download a WAV voice track and SRT subtitles. Save the editable draft and keep the generated audio in Saved Work. For a video source, create a Video Studio timeline with the original audio muted, the new voice track and translated subtitles, then review and export a 720p MP4.
Supported recordings and limits
Upload WAV, MP3, M4A, MP4 or WebM up to 5 MB in Saved Work, or keep a completed Ali Pro recording there. The editor supports up to 12 speech segments and 1,200 translated characters. Shorten speech that cannot fit its timing. Built-in AI voices do not clone the original speaker or change lip movements. Review translation, names and pronunciation before sharing.
Your selected recording is sent to OpenAI only when you run preparation. Use recordings you have permission to translate. History keeps results for 30 days; Saved copies remain until deletion within your shared storage allowance.
