Ali Pro / The details
Privacy policy
How information is used when you visit Ali Pro or use its workspace.
Effective date: 26 September 2026
Scope and contact
This notice covers ali-pro.com, app.ali-pro.com and the Ali Pro mobile apps, including test builds. The same account, saved work and credit balance are shared across the website and apps. For questions about personal information or to make a privacy request, contact the Ali Pro team at support@ali-pro.com.
Adult access confirmation
Ali Pro is intended only for people aged 18 or older, as set out in our Terms of Service. We do not require a separate age-confirmation checkbox or collect a date of birth or identity document for this purpose. Historical age confirmations collected under the previous policy may remain with account or guest-run records until their normal deletion or retention expiry.
Historical account confirmation is removed when account deletion is accepted. Historical guest confirmation follows the retention period of its associated run, including applicable holds and backup retention. If you believe someone under 18 is using Ali Pro, contact support@ali-pro.com so we can investigate.
Information used by the service
Account information includes your name, email address, account preferences and authentication records. Tool information includes the text or other content you submit, generated outputs, execution status and saved results.
Billing records include subscription status, invoice references and credit transactions. Website payments are processed through Stripe. Technical records may include IP addresses, browser or app information, request logs and errors. Messages you send to support are also processed.
Administrator security records include an encrypted authenticator secret, hashed single-use recovery codes, enrollment time and verification events. Authenticator and recovery codes are not included in customer analytics.
Why information is used
Account details, tool inputs and billing records are used to provide the service you request and administer your subscription. Security and diagnostic records help prevent abuse, investigate failures and keep the service operating. Records may also be needed for accounting and legal obligations.
Where data protection law requires a lawful basis, service delivery relies on performance of the agreement, security on legitimate interests in protecting the service and its users, and required records on legal obligations. Any processing that requires consent needs an appropriate consent mechanism.
Service providers
The inputs you explicitly provide to a tool are sent to the provider used for that task, and applicable content may also be sent for the safety checks described below. Current AI providers include OpenAI, Anthropic, Google and HeyGen. HeyGen receives the selected stock-avatar settings and the reviewed voice track used for presenter videos, through a time-limited signed download link. Cloudways hosts the application, Stripe processes website payments and Resend delivers service emails. Native purchases are processed by Apple or Google; Ali Pro receives the transaction and entitlement information needed to verify the purchase, rather than your payment-card number. Providers may process information in other countries.
Do not assume that a tool keeps submitted content solely on your device. Contact us if you need details about a provider, processing location or applicable transfer arrangements before submitting sensitive information.
Provider storage, abuse-monitoring retention and account-specific agreements differ by service. Where supported, Ali Pro requests that text responses are not stored, but this does not guarantee zero retention across all endpoints or providers. Deleting work in Ali Pro does not automatically establish deletion of provider-held copies. Contact support before submitting content that requires specific residency or retention terms.
AI safety checks and content reports
AI tasks can include automated safety checks. Where these checks are enabled, applicable prompts, reference images, transcripts, translated text and generated text or images are sent to OpenAI for moderation, including when another provider creates the result. The provider disclosure before a task identifies the recipients for that request. Declining that disclosure prevents the AI task from being submitted. Checks can reject a request or prevent an output from being delivered; they do not guarantee that every unsafe result will be detected.
You can report a generated result or retained Saved Work item from the app. A report records your account, the result reference, the selected reason and any explanation you provide. Authorised administrators can use these details and accessible associated content to investigate the report. Report explanations are stored encrypted. Reports are normally removed after 30 days and are removed when account deletion is processed; retained backups follow the arrangements described below. Do not include unnecessary personal or sensitive information in a report.
Storage and retention
Billing, wallet, refund and financial audit records, with the identifiers needed to explain them, are retained for seven years after the end of the relevant accounting or tax period. Records under an unresolved dispute, investigation or other required hold are retained longer. Retention is reviewed before removal.
History inputs, outputs and uploaded files are accessible for 30 days from each run. Saving a result keeps a separate copy in Saved Work, including its retained files. Execution metadata is normally kept for 12 months, with longer retention when required for billing disputes or legal obligations. Saved documents, editable originals and copied results remain until you delete them, within the 100 MB account limit. Account favourites, preferred models and templates sync across devices. We measure successful tasks, saves, exports and repeat completion without adding task content to analytics events. Download important work. Deployment database backups are rotated during deployments once older than 14 days and can remain longer between deployments. Separately managed hosting backups follow the hosting backup schedule; contact support for details. Recorded deletions must be reapplied before service resumes after a backup restoration.
Account deletion
You can delete your account in Account, under Security on the website, or through Account, Delete account in the mobile app. Confirm your current password, type DELETE and acknowledge the removal and retention notice. Resolve running AI tasks, active subscriptions, open checkouts and pending credit or refund requests first. Deletion applies to the shared Ali Pro account. It does not charge money, cancel a subscription or issue a refund.
Account access ends immediately on acceptance. Prompts, results, uploaded files, photos, saved work, workflows, preferences are removed from the live service. If removal is interrupted, it retries automatically; your deletion receipt confirms completion. Temporary drafts and saved preferences are also cleared from the browser used to delete the account where browser storage is available. Other device copies and provider-held information are subject to their own storage and provider policies.
Balances and transactions remain in restricted financial records, but access to unused credits ends. The restricted account email, account ID and billing identifiers remain for financial reconciliation, fraud prevention and deletion evidence. The account cannot sign in or be restored through normal account controls. Reuse of the email requires support review. Login-attempt records expire after 60 days; routine application logs after 14 days.
Your choices and rights
Depending on the law that applies, you may request access, correction, deletion, restriction or a portable copy of personal information. You may also object to processing based on legitimate interests and withdraw consent where processing relies on it. Contact support@ali-pro.com to make a request.
You can raise a concern with the relevant data protection authority, including the Information Commissioner’s Office where UK data protection law applies. Changing browser storage settings may affect sign-in and saved preferences.
Sensitive information and updates
Only submit information you are authorised to share. Take particular care with medical, financial, employment and legal records. This notice does not establish a special agreement for regulated or confidential data.
We update this page when the service or its information practices change. The date above identifies this version.
Local browser utilities
Tools labelled as local utilities work without signup and process content in your browser. Public website utilities always use guest mode, even when you have an account. Guest mode, also available in the workspace through the option to use without saving, does not upload your inputs, options, files or results. Anonymous run records contain the utility, time and completion status, retained for up to 12 months; routine service access logs may still record network information as described elsewhere in this notice. When signed in with account saving enabled, utilities save your inputs, options, filenames, uploaded files and generated results to your Ali Pro account. Generated passwords are an exception: they remain on your device and only task completion is recorded. Content is available in History and to authorised administrators for support, service operation and quality review for 30 days from the run, unless you explicitly retain a copy in Saved Work. Access is then blocked and scheduled deletion removes the content. Execution metadata, such as tool, account, test flag, time, status, duration and cost, is normally retained for 12 months; records needed for billing disputes or legal obligations may be retained longer. Files are stored privately and encrypted at rest. Local utility content is not sent to an AI provider. Public popularity shows aggregate completed-run counts. An internet connection is required to authorise runs and save content. Download results you want to keep longer. Backup copies follow the backup retention schedule and are not available through History.
Tool trials and temporary drafts
You can prepare tool inputs before signing up. Draft text and selected files remain in this browser using IndexedDB and expire after 24 hours. Expired drafts are removed when draft storage is next used; clearing site storage also removes them. Up to three recent drafts are kept. After signing in, submitted AI briefs go to the selected provider to generate the preview. Free utility results are available in full; AI trials show a cropped excerpt until you have the required paid plan and confirm the credit cost to unlock. Trial results follow the 30-day execution retention period. Preview limits use account activity and a keyed hash of the connection IP, with account, connection and service-wide limits to control abuse. Utility history files have a 512 MB account allowance.
Campaign measurement
Links to Ali Pro may include campaign labels identifying the source, campaign and creative. We can carry these labels between Ali Pro pages and save them with a newly created account to understand which campaigns lead to verified registrations, completed tasks and subscriptions. These labels are not verified advertising clicks.
This measurement does not add advertising pixels, cookies, local storage or a unique visitor identifier, and does not send your prompts, files, email address or payment details to advertising platforms. Labels may remain in the page URL and be included if you share that link. Campaign labels follow the account retention and deletion policy. Visits without usable labels are reported as unattributed.
Photo Studio and image trials
Photo Studio sends your chosen reference photos and preferences to OpenAI to create a personalised AI image. You must have permission to use the photos. We re-encode reference photos to remove metadata such as GPS information and delete the server copies after processing. A temporary browser draft may remain until it is submitted or expires under the draft policy above.
Photo trials can begin before signup. A random browser identifier, its server-side hash and a keyed connection-IP hash help limit trials. Signing up lets you claim the preview for your account. One free photo trial applies across the photo collection; it does not reset when a result expires or you switch styles. Small trial-claim records remain to enforce this limit.
Full-resolution results are stored privately. A locked trial serves only a reduced image with a watermark baked into its pixels. Locked image previews expire after 24 hours; unlocked images are accessible for 30 days from generation. Downloading full images requires the authenticated owner, Starter or above access and an unlocked result. This image-specific policy replaces the general 30-day trial window for Photo Studio.
Generation status, provider token usage, estimated provider costs, credit charges, refunds and successful downloads are recorded for billing, service operation and aggregate product measurement. Photos and prompts are not included in analytics events. Embedded social examples on Trending AI load content from Instagram or YouTube and are subject to those services’ information practices.
Audio transcription and document revisions
Voice to Text prepares audio locally in your browser. When you select Transcribe, the prepared recording is uploaded to Ali Pro and sent to OpenAI for speech recognition. You must have permission to use it. Ali Pro stores the recording encrypted while processing and removes it from active storage after success or failure. A daily cleanup removes abandoned uploads older than 24 hours. Backup copies follow the retention arrangements above; provider processing follows the selected provider’s applicable terms.
The transcript follows the normal 30-day task-content retention period. Saved copies remain until you delete them. Editing a saved document retains its current content and one previous saved version, both encrypted at rest and counted towards the 100 MB allowance. Saving an edit does not modify the original task in History.
Voice, music, video and editable creations
Voiceover sends the text and chosen voice to OpenAI. Music and short video creation send the submitted brief and generation settings to Google. Presenter videos use HeyGen stock avatars with a reviewed voice track you own or are authorised to use. Do not upload another person’s voice or media without the necessary permission.
Dubbing extracts speech from your selected saved audio or video, sends audio to OpenAI for transcription, translates the transcript with OpenAI and sends your reviewed translation for speech generation. Editable segment text, timings and generated audio are retained in Saved Work. Temporary processing files are removed after processing and by cleanup jobs if processing is interrupted.
Video timelines combine selected assets, captions and audio on the Ali Pro server. Design, document and presentation editors retain editable source content, selected Brand Kit details and referenced assets in Saved Work. Exporting a timeline does not itself send its content to an AI provider. AI generation steps follow the provider processing described above.
Generated media in History follows its applicable content-retention period. Saving a retained copy to Saved Work keeps that copy until you delete the item or account, subject to storage limits and applicable holds. Save retains the actual content independently of the History window.
Mobile permissions and device storage
The mobile app sends submitted briefs, chosen files, recordings and account actions to the same Ali Pro service used by the website. AI processing and server retention follow the relevant sections above. Camera access is requested when you choose to take a reference photo; microphone access is requested when you choose to record audio. You can decline either permission and choose an existing file instead. Selecting a file or recording audio does not by itself submit that content for AI processing. You can change permissions in your device settings.
Sign-in tokens are kept in operating-system secure storage on iOS and Android. The optional app lock uses your device's biometric authentication or permitted device-passcode fallback. Ali Pro receives the authentication result, not your fingerprint or face template. Signing out removes the app's stored session and its private downloaded-result cache. Recordings, selected-file copies and other temporary media may remain in the app's cache until removed by the app or operating system. Copies you export to Photos, Files or another app remain under your control and are not removed by signing out or deleting your Ali Pro account.
The app's operating-system share sheet sends the selected result to the destination you choose. Review that destination before sharing private work. Mobile previews and test builds use the same server-side retention and account-deletion rules as the website; installing or uninstalling an app does not delete the shared account.
Where result notifications are available and you enable them, Ali Pro registers a push token, your device platform and your signed-in session. Delivery uses Expo and the Apple or Google notification service. Notifications contain a general completion or failure message and a reference to the result, not its prompt, private content or download link. You can turn off result notifications in the app or revoke notification permission in device settings.
Optional blog measurement
Blog articles offer an unticked, optional choice to count the visit and article-link clicks in aggregate statistics. When you choose it, we record the article, event type, category, referring website domain and campaign label. We do not store a visitor identifier or set an analytics cookie. Unticking the choice stops further click measurement on that page. Aggregate records are retained for up to 13 months. Existing technical access logs remain subject to the security and service practices described above.
Optional aggregate product measurement
The website and app offer an optional choice to count visits and tool views. Native apps can also count app opens, sign-ins and returns from result notifications. Measurement is off until you choose it. Counts contain the event, platform, tool name and permitted campaign labels where present; they do not contain your prompts, files, account, device or unique visitor identifier. Repeated visits can count again. These counts are separate from operational records needed to provide your account and service.
Only your yes/no preference is remembered in browser local storage or secure device storage. You can turn measurement off using the same control, or clear site/device storage. Aggregate product counts are retained for up to 13 months. Website, web app and native-device choices are separate.
